Our Fabric Basis
Our fabric is printed in China, using only Oeko-Tex standard 100 certified inks and digital direct injection printing process. We offer a range of quality fabric bases for our preorders.
COTTON WOVEN
100% cotton in a medium twill poplin. Weight is 135gsm, width is approx 148cm. Suitable for most projects for woven fabric, such as quilting, shirts and dresses etc.
COTTON LYCRA KNIT
95% cotton, 5% spandex. Weight ranges from 200 to 240gsm, width approx. 148cm. Suitable for t shirts, leggings, baby garments, yoga wear etc.
COTTON CANVAS
100% cotton. Weight is 250gsm, width approx. 148cm. Heavier than the woven or knit, this is suitable for tea towels, placemats, bags, shorts and trousers, jackets and cushions.
DOUBLE BRUSHED POLY
96% polyester, 4% spandex. Weight is 210gsm, width approx. 148cm. Super soft and stretchy. Softer than the cotton lycra knit. Perfect for leggings and winter pyjamas. Great for any garments next to the skin.
SWIM
(seasonal) 88% polyester, 12% spandex. Weight is 2200-220gsm, width approx. 148cm. SPF50.
RAYON
100% rayon poplin. Weight is 150gsm, width approx 148cm. Perfect for summer dresses, light blouses, summer shirts and resort-wear.
COTTON FRENCH TERRY
(seasonal) 95% cotton, 5% spandex. Weight is 280-300gsm, width approx. 148cm. This is sweatshirt material, with small loops on the unprinted side of the fabric.
BAMBOO FRENCH TERRY
95% bamboo 5% spandex. Weight is 280gsm, width approx 145cm. This has a softer and more silky texture compared to CFT, and feels more luxurious. Drapes beautifully.
PUL
100%polyester. Weight is 160gsm, width 150cm. PUL or Polyurethane Laminate is a type of laminated fabric. PUL is waterproof, and is ideal for the outside of cloth diapers, diaper covers, cloth pads, and sandwich bags. It is a soft fabric (not stiff or crackly) with a little stretch.
ATHLETIC KNIT
95% Polyester and 5% Spandex. Weight 300 gsm, width approx 148cm. Perfect for sportswear and active wear, very stretchy, easy wash and quick drying.
VINYL
95% Polyester and 5% Spandex. Weight 300 gsm, width approx 148cm. Perfect for sportswear and active wear, very stretchy, easy wash and quick drying.
